Sous Chef Jones

Sous Chef Jones joined the DayoSense kitchen staff in 2006. She brought with her a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience in the areas of cooking en mass, banquet organization, and event planning. Sous Chef Jones is a fireball in the kitchen prepping food for Chef Dayo to cook for each DayoSense event. She is known all over the city for her signature dishes that are featured on some of the DayoSense menus: Cornbread Dressing, Fried Chicken, Smothered Pork Chops, Potato Salad, Seafood Gumbo, Fudge Brownies, etc. She believes that fresh ingredients, cooked in a healthy way, and seasoned with potent flavors delivers a dish that has a high quality taste. And she is right!

In addition to her Sous Chef, DayoSense has a staff of over 20 skilled workers with a long history of food production and customer service. The DayoSense Kitchen Staff shares Chef Dayo's love for flavor, creativity, efficiency, and excellence with a combined cooking history of over 150years. They enjoy creating great food and sharing it with their guests.

Chef Dayo's love for continued education and sharing life skills is evident with the DayoSense Waitstaff which is made up of professional waiters who act as mentors to teenage waitstaff. The goal is to pass on to the younger workers the skill and pride that comes with great customer service which will help them succeed in any occupation they choose in the future.
