Banquet Server Lead

AVAILABLE POSITION

20+ hrs per week | $18-$20 based on experience | Employee with DayoSense Benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of DayoSense

  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep food service operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.

  • Anticipates client, guests, teammates needs by constantly evaluating the environment for cues.

  • Communicates information to team so that they can respond as necessary to keep an environment of joy and excellence

  • Assists with new servers in-training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

  • Delivers great customer service to all customers by acting with a Joyful attitude. Discovers and responds to client and/or guest needs.

  • Follows DayoSense operational policies and procedures, including those for health safety, injury prevention, and security, to ensure the safety of self and all teammates during each shift.

  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that teammates can locate resources and product as needed.

  • Provides quality food products and beverages consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.

  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance

Ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to build relationships

  • Ability to manage and inspire groups of people

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous food service experience preferred

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Available to consistently work the time of day Applied for. Additional Flexible hours may be offered that include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

  • Ability to understand and carry out logistics to a successful completion

  • Engage with and understand fellow teammates and guests, including discovering and responding to teammate/client/guest needs through clear and pleasant communication

  • Comply with the specified dress code for the shift

  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for clients

  • Available to perform many different tasks within the Kitchen or Job Site during each shift

  • Can easily Stand for a consistent 2 hours

  • Can easily lift/carry 30lbs
